This was a very spontaneous piece. I started thinking him up while joyfully walking out of the last class of the week, forgot the quote I was going to draw him with, and then decided to pose him as Horatio Caine of CSI: Miami after looking at a very cute comic strip of said character.

This is the very first time I've ever drawn Stewie Griffin of Family Guy, and the first time in a VERY long time I've drawn something from an American-based cartoon.

Also finished it all within three hours. Another first!

dude! this is a big step for you. american cartoon based fanart. done pretty well too. stewie looks pretty good in a suit :) .

would be cool if you could put other family guy characters in the role of csi characters .

That's not the point. This is just a random piece. And I'm happy with it. :D

Right now I'm wavering between finishing this one TF fanart and this other TF fanart I just started...I think the first one was just a step towards this second one, and I have a feeling the second one will go into production much sooner than the first. Oh dear...all that detail, all that pain, all gone to waste....thank goodness I seem to be concentrating much better in a college environment.

Great work for it being under 3 hours! I can definitely understand why you are proud of it, and I :clap: for you!!!

The college environment must be doing you good. :) I like the simple composition (art school taughts me wordsszz) and the few colors that are used even for the cartoon itself works really well.

Keep it up! Soon you'll be pelting out those giant ass mechs more and more! :D

I can't wait to start pelting out the giant ass mechs! The piece I told you about it coming around a lot faster than the other one - I'm halfway done with Arcee's body and that was not even in an hour, XD

Strangely enough, I get very distracted at home but here....I don't know, it's just very strange.

I used to be able to get A LOT done when I was out in Omaha at college. Now I don't do anything i the way of art other than photography while I'm living with my parents now back in Albuquerque.

Me thinks I need to move...I'm sitting in a coffee shop right now, leeching internets.

Now I sketched Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph in Fire Nation garb (their heads) and I already inked Aang....but I STILL need to take a shower and eat something....goddamn it! :lmao:
